Puppy Pilates 22nd February Dachshunds

Join us on Sunday 22nd February for our Puppy Pilates sessions, this time with a delightful litter of dachshunds. While our usual puppy yoga classes focus on gentle stretching and relaxation, Mat Pilates offers something different. It’s a strengthening and lengthening form of exercise that targets your core, arms and legs through controlled, repetitive movements and focused breathing, helping to improve posture, balance and overall body strength. Being around puppies has also been shown to boost serotonin and improve your mood, making the session as good for your mind as it is for your body.

The class begins with 15 minutes to get to know the pups, followed by 30 minutes of guided Pilates and finishes with 15 minutes of dachshund cuddles. All attending puppies are over eight weeks old, vaccinated and from the same household, ensuring a safe and happy environment. Tickets are sold at a two-to-one human-to-puppy ratio, giving everyone plenty of puppy time while keeping the puppies relaxed and comfortable. Our furry friends are cared for throughout the class, with nourishment and their own comfortable space if they choose to nap. Paw Yoga only ever runs two sessions a day back-to-back to limit the amount of time the puppies are out. 

All classes are held in Manchester City Centre, UK, and changing rooms and lockers are available at each venue. The exact location will be emailed to you the week of the event. Please note locations can change from event to event. All customers will need to sign a health and safety waiver in order to take part in the class, which will be emailed to you before the session. Our sessions are for guests aged 16 and over. Pilates mats are provided — you just need to bring yourself and wear comfortable clothing you can move in.
